FARMALL FIX – ROUTE 12 – RANDOLPH, VERMONT is a repair shop for Farmall tractors. They were manufactured until the 1970’s and are no longer manufactured or serviced. This shop specializes in antique Farmal tractors. The parts department is in the adjacent field. During summer, the inventory becomes engulfed in grass and golden rod. The forms peak of the weeds and are covered in a patina of rust – originally red, the shades of rust and red are intense and become dramatic against the white of the paper.
The watercolor images become playful and look like they are dancing. They are part of a triptych  called “TRACTOR DANCE” [3 – each watercolor  18 x 24 or 30 x 60 framed] Also available as giclee prints.
